Nailing The Toe Boards

16.Nail the toe boards. Toe boards must be approximately 4 inches (102 mm) in height above the platform. The toe board clearance between its low edge and the platform must not be more than 1/2 inch (13 mm). Toe boards keep materials from falling off the scaffold.
