Erecting Exterior Wall Forms And Aligning Them To The Wall Form Corners
Erect the rest of the
exterior wall
forms and filler panels, and nail
each of them to the bottom plate with 50 mm (2 inch) nails. On the
inside
top surface of each wall corner form, nail a 38 mm by 89 mm (2 inch by
4 inch) block
and attach them together with a string line. Run a test block between
the string and exterior wall
forms to align them to the corner forms. The test block and the two
corner form blocks should have the same dimensions. Nail the forms to
the top
plate and brace if necessary. Layout and install blockouts, window
bucks and door bucks. Insert the Easy Strip tie bars into the form
panels and insert the waler bars through the ends of the ties
that protrude out of the exterior wall. Tie any required rebars into
place.
