Applying A Plywood Panel Subfloor To Floor

When applying plywood
panel sub
flooring, the joints must be staggered.
See figure 26. The grain of the
plywood must be at a right angle to the joist. Leave about 2 mm of
space between the edges of each panel. When square edged
plywood
is used, the joints must be blocked. Blocking is not necessary when
plywood underlay and subflooring are applied with the
joints staggered.
