Adjusting The Rafter To The
Size Of The Ridge Board
Slide the framing square
down the
rafter on the chalkline, as shown in
figure 38, until it is
one-half the thickness of the ridge horizontally from the ridge plumb
line. Mark a new plumb line and cut.
