Birdsmouth
Mark the birdsmouth
plumb line as
shown on figure 39. Slide the framing
square to the
birds mouth plumb line so that the blade of the square intersects the
point where the chalkline intersects the plumb line. Mark the
horizontal line along the blade from the plumb line to the bottom of
the rafter. Cut the birdsmouth.
