Hip Rafter Double Cheek Cut

The new squared line, located 27 mm from the upper working point at 90 degrees from the plumb line, is the long point of a double cheek cut. The cheek cut is required to ensure the hip rafter fits properly between the first and end common rafters.  The hip rafter double cheek cut layout is explained in figure 5.
