To Build A Sawhorse 5
Draw
two parallel lines, each 3/ 8 of
an inch from a long edge, on the upper surface of the sawhorse top
piece. See figure 5. Draw saw cut angle lines from each of the above
3/8 inch lines, to the bottom edge of the top piece. Cut along these
lines and remove the triangular pieces. Position each sawhorse leg
along the sloping surface of the top piece sides so that the top of
each leg is level with the top piece upper surface, and the legs'
narrow outer edge is in line with one of the lines drawn six inches
from the end of the top piece. See figures 1 and 2. Nail each leg to
the top piece with three 2 1/4 inch (57 mm) nails.
